He is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine and performed his graduate training and fellowship at Harvard University programs at New England Deaconess hospitals. Dr. Curtis is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, The National Honor Medical Society. Dr. Curtis served as Chief of Medicine in 1993 and 1994 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA. On October 25, 1998, Dr. Curtis was designated a Diplomate Certified in the Subspecialty of Nuclear Cardiology, one of a small number of physicians in the United States to meet the requirements prescribed by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr Curtis is also the first Nuclear Cardiologist to head a Nuclear laboratory through the coveted ICANL certification process. His Nuclear laboratory is the only fully certified laboratory in Massachusetts and one of 208 in the United States of America

In addition, Dr. Curtis is one of a small number of U.S. physicians certified in nuclear cardiology. And HeartSafe ’s nuclear cardiology lab is one of only 687 labs in the country to earn the prestigious national ICANL accreditation.
